It is with great excitement that we now get to formally announce the relaunch of Norwich Sewcials and invite you to join us from 6:30pm onwards in Atrium of The Forum on 12th February 2019.
Enjoy a glass of fizz and some nibbles and get to hear about the exciting changes happening to the group and see what is on offer for you, all in the beautiful surroundings of the Atrium during Makers Festival.
If you have ever fancied trying your hand at creating your own fashion but never dared start, or if you have been doing this for years and love all things fabric related, this is for you!
Norwich Sewcials is a local sewing community for all those who love all things sewing. For the past three years we have run monthly meet-ups where like-minded people can gather and share their enthusiasm for this worthy hobby. Mindfulness, sustainability and practical fun, what’s not to love.
With drinks, company and pattern swapping it has been a source of creative inspiration and friendship. Our group is for the young and old, beginners and experienced seamstresses alike. Our main focus is dressmaking however we love a dabble at anything crafty, having set up needle-felting, embroidery, craft workshops and coach trips throughout the year. This has been together with our regular Sew Days, where our sewcialists can spend a whole day creating their outfits with assistance and tuition on hand.
With thanks to all our supporters Norwich Sewcials has become a great success and we now wish to offer something more, in order that we can keep this community alive. Norwich Sewcials are therefore relaunching and will be offering Annual Memberships bringing with it an array of benefits to members.
Membership benefits will include local fabric shopping discounts, priority booking and discounted ticket prices for our events.
